About the role

<p>The IT Business Analyst is a key player in the cooperation between IT and Business <span>stakeholders. </span><span>You s</span>upport the understanding and validating of  requirements and ensuring that solutions are well-defined and aligned with Business and Tech. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in the translation of business requirements in a sequence that delivers customer value as early as possible (strong Minimum Viable Product mindset). You support the breakdown of features into user stories to ensure that business epics are translated into working IT solutions. You define and align the roadmaps between squads – from same or different Tribes – and other parts of the organization and thoroughly manage dependencies.</p><p>Your success is not based on your hierarchical position, but based on your strong communication and collaboration skills, your results delivered, your extensive knowledge of current and future state and your added value for ING and for the teams you work with.</p><p></p><p><b><span>The team</span></b></p><p>You will be part of a Chapter with Solution Architects and IT integrators working for the IT-area Corporate Technologies (CT) within People and Hubs. Corporate Technologies deliver​ unified and secure <span>Tech capabilities</span> and <span>services empowering</span> our global business partners to deliver and improve <span>the digital experience.</span> (e.g. Enterprise Content &amp; Automation, Global HR, Facility Management, Knowledge &amp; Service management and more). The open position has a focus on the Centre of Expertise Corporate Real Estate &amp; Facility Services (CREFS). Our CREFS business partner advises and delivers at optimum price and quality, suitable working conditions and facility services for all employees and visitors of ING business units.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Roles and responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li>Translate business requirements into features and stories by using IT &amp; Business knowledge</li><li><p>You are able to understand, and interpret business needs and translate them into new product / services and the required IT solutions. You think and act globally.</p></li><li><p>Together with relevant stakeholders (Architects, Business Owners, Product Owners), you breakdown epics (big changes) into features with a design and a strong MVP (Minimum Viable Product) mindset. You assign the features (and underlying user stories) to the relevant squads and lead the accurate feature definition and estimation. You clarify the definition of done together with the product owner(s).</p></li></ul><p>Ensure features delivery (Planning, coordination, dependencies management)</p><ul><li><p>You are and feel technical responsible for the integration and realization of the IT work (across squads and/or Tribes). You oversee sprints, align the work across the whole chain and inspires individuals and teams creating lasting synergy.</p></li><li><p>You identify (and manage) risks and potential issues and offer improvements across tribes.</p></li><li><p>You are able to positively influence Business and IT strategies locally or at Group level.</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all analysis and testing activities are completed within the established timelines,</p></li><li><p>Actively participate in scrum ceremonies</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>How to succeed</span></b></p><p><span>We hire smart people like you for your potential.
