Job Description

The Director of Digital Transformation and Operations will be responsible for leading the Logistics organization's digital transformation journey and ensuring operational system and analytical capability to support the business. The individual will be a key member of the Logistics leadership team and will be responsible for defining the system architecture internally and externally with Logistics partners to support world class logistics operations. Determining and enabling world class digital and analytic capabilities based upon industry benchmark will be a key aspect of the job. The individual will lead a Logistics Center of Excellence team that will be responsible for defining and enabling the system, data, and digital roadmap needed for the future.

This role reports directly to the Sr Dir, Logistics Fulfillment and Center of Excellence. 

  • Lead the organization's digital transformation journey to be world class, by driving technology innovation, adoption, and change management.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven culture across the logistics organization, leveraging analytics to optimize our operations and drive better business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across our sourcing and procurement operations.
  • Determine, implement and manage process improvement initiatives to optimize and streamline our logistics operations while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Drive the integration between logistics operations and rest of the supply chain to achieve end to end operation efficiency.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital transformation and operations management, with a focus on sourcing and procurement operations. Logistics background preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing complex digital transformation initiatives, including technology adoption and change management.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and standards, including risk management, compliance, and governance.
  • Experience in project management, process improvement, and operational excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
