Job Description

Major Job Functions:

  • Assist Revenue Cycle Consultant and Technical Consultant teams in the implementation of Experian’s ClaimSource revenue cycle management system
  • Review internal process, recommend and develop changes to improve systems efficiency, automation, and/or effectiveness
  • Document and communicate complex solutions to internal and external clients in a timely manner
  • Assess project complexity and estimate development and implementation timeframe
  • Provide input to improve product documentation and training
  • Assign and monitor detailed project tasks and communicate summary level information to management and involved parties as required
  • Communicate status with team members, end users and clients within client expectations including participating in regular client calls
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and service/sales team
  • Monitor accuracy and completeness of all assigned jobs
  • Provide technical support including testing, debugging, troubleshooting and implementing necessary program changes, updates, or additions
  • Analyze customer data including performing optimizations and edit reviews with customers
  • Review and evaluate payer notifications
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to define process requirements for project
  • May supervise project resources on assigned projects
  • Responsible for tracking change requests and high severity incidents
  • Identify problems/solutions and lead research on complex issues.  Serve as a resource to resolve technical problems.  Provide training and support in conjunction with the Training team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements by identifying ways to optimize resources
  • May maintain and publish comprehensive project plans and schedules
  • Outline processing plans to support the implementation of new programs or processes
  • Assist with team leadership roles and mentor new team members

Scope:

  • Applies advance skills in area of specialization to solve complex problem in creative and effective ways.  Duties and tasks are varied and complex

Supervision:

 

  • Works under minimal supervision with no instruction on routine work, general instruction on new assignments.  May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to lower level personnel

Qualifications

General Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or significant hospital/clinic billing experience required (4 years minimum)
  • Experience with host system installations and/or migrations (Epic, Cerner, etc.) a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Strong skills utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to work closely with diverse group of internal/external organizational members
  • Knowledge of ICD10 diagnosis and procedure codes required
