Position Overview

The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, creative thinking, problem solving environment. This position serves as a System Operations Controller for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), in performing computer operating functions using operating system commands to monitor Information Technology (IT) environments, serving DoIT client agencies. In this role you will perform job control procedures including review, research, and analysis work to resolve scheduling or job stream errors using Job Control Language (JCL). In addition, you will work closely with technical personnel including application, system analysts and production control staff daily with review and reporting of batch processing issues.
