Vacation Rental Housekeeper

Description

Spend your summer along the beautiful Finger Lakes! Housekeepers make $19.00 + an hour, Plus BONUSES, TIPS and INCENTIVES for cleaning homes in preparation for new guests to move in. This position is part time and seasonal, with housekeepers working anywhere from 8-20 hours per week.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Housekeeper will work collaboratively with all employees, guests, owners, and other FLPP stakeholders to support the company’s goals through superior property cleanliness and customer service. Responsible for ensuring all established cleaning procedures and guidelines are followed; consistently maintaining high-quality cleaning services; and completes cleaning inspections. Delivers personalized service that attends to every guest’s and owner’s needs and meets or exceeds all service standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operational Support:

• Facilitates high-quality cleaning services; follows established methods and procedures to ensure all arrival and departure cleaning tasks are completed in an accurate and efficient manner; adheres to all standard unit appearances.
• Completes both housekeeping and property inspections.
• Accurately completes required documentation; submits at the end of every shift.
• Completes all tasks within required timeframes.
• Promptly follows up on all cleaning requests and concerns by guests and owners
• Documents and reports all maintenance and safety concerns in a timely manner.

Safety Support:

• Maintains a safe work environment at all times
• Aligns with the FLPP Safety Program to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Ensures all policies are followed and enforced for outside agencies, including but not limited to DOL, EEOC and OSHA.
• Keeps all required safety records and documentation current and up-to-date.
• Maintains a safety-first work ethic.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license AND reliable transportation to drive to the properties
• Must be available the weekend (Saturday/Sunday)

This role routinely is exposed to external work environment. Must be able to work in hot, humid, raining, cold, windy conditions. Exposure to different types of chemicals, allergens such as dust, pollen, mold, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands in a repetitive motion, reaching, grasping, rotating, bending, walking, squatting, standing, and lifting in excess of 50 pounds.
