Senior Solutions Architect - Salesforce RCA

JOB SUMMARY: 

Argano’s Salesforce Tower is looking for an experienced Solution Architect with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ / Billing/ RCA) experience. The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Solution Architect acts as the architecture and technical subject matter expert supporting customer deployments of Salesforce Revenue Cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects, as well as the ability to work closely with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders. You have an expertise understanding of coding languages and are responsible for participating in creating solution diagrams, interfacing with technical experts, and are key for ensuring end-to-end solutioning for projects. You will support the development of models that illustrate how a product/solution provides value to customers and work on complex projects and analyze critical issues to come up technical solutions. A Solution Architect is responsible for coordinating certain projects and activities with other areas, teams and positions. You will lead business analysts and developers through transformational initiatives focused on delivering real and tangible business value through deployment of Quote to Cash solutions on the Salesforce Revenue Cloud.   

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Translates business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce Billing platform.  

• Support discovery, design, business process review and analysis sessions with clients  

• Lead solution design sessions with business and IT stakeholders through a series of workshops to develop the target design.  

• Develop robust, scalable, future-proof and flexible solution architectures through the creation of prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and architectural designs.  

• Evaluate multiple solution approaches - provide justifications, and level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits, business impact and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality.  

• Provide implementation road map strategy  

• Design Configuration and approach to testing of different Salesforce Revenue Cloud components and processes, integrations with external systems and data migration to realize the solution.  

• Support project team members with implementation best practices of the solution.  

• Drive and own the solution design and the implementation of Salesforce and (optionally) other affiliated solutions as required by the project  

 

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:  

EDUCATION:  

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering or a related field. 

 

EXPERIENCE:  

• 10+ years of enterprise-level experience, within a professional services organization, as a Solution Architect and/or Senior Business Consultant with a leading technology consulting company, delivering moderate to complex ERP, billing and/or salesforce.com solutions  

• Able to engage as the trusted advisor and leader who partners with business stakeholders and executives to design a vision and architecture for a solution to a business problem.  

• Strong knowledge of the full billing cycle including product set up, quoting, ordering Invoicing, Invoice Templates, Payment and Payment Gateway configuration. Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting, and integration into the ERP and financial system.  

• Prior experience as a Solution Architect with Salesforce CPQ and Billing, or Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced implementation/ Billing system architect experience such as Salesforce, Apttus, Zuora or NetSuite.  

• Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level.   

• Experience in data and gap analysis, conversion, and migration, interfaces, and reports.  

• Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives and technical/non-technical leaders.  

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.  

• Able to drive the solution design, and implementation and work with the Project Management team to proactively identify solution and project risks/issues and plan for mitigation.
