Summer Internship: Market Access Operations Intern (Onsite - San Carlos, CA)

Education Required:  

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. 

General Description: 
 

We are looking for a detail-oriented Market Access Operations intern to support our commercial field operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business operations within the pharmaceutical industry. The intern will assist in managing payer and provider data, GPO rosters, and generating insights that support contracting strategies and business decision-making.  This is an in office role - our ideal candidate will report to our San Carlos, CA twice a week. 

Essential Functions of the Job:  

• Assist with GPO roster management and operational process setup with cross-functional teams. 

• Help analyze Market Access data to support contracting strategies and business decisions. 

• Support the creation of reports and presentations, including insights on payer and provider performance. 

• Work with contract and affiliation data to ensure accuracy and alignment with business needs. 

Computer Skills:    

• Experience with data querying (SQL) 

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. 

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

Other Qualifications:     

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Interest in pharmaceutical market access, payer data, and healthcare analytics. 

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

$27.50/hour (Bachelors)

$38.50/hour (Masters)
