Job Description

This is a seasonal full-time temporary, Salt Lake City, UT based position.  

The Bike Operations team is looking for a Seasonal Warehouse Technician to join our team. This role will handle products in our fulfillment center to accommodate our rider’s requests and will be trained to fulfill, ship, and receive product. An important aspect of this role is assembling our bike boxes, prepping our bikes for assembly for our Bike Technician team, as well as packaging products once ready for shipping.  This role has a high expectation for attention to detail and quality to ensure our customers receive their product without damage and in a timely manner.  A successful candidate enjoys working with a team in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about sport, especially biking.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Order fulfillment, choosing the correct products to fill the customer request
• Assembling bike boxes and packing product to specifications
• Ensure picked product(s) conform to customer order
• Comfortable working standing on feet for extended periods of time
• Assist in receiving freight and ground shipments
• Unload trailers manually and/or with provided equipment
• Working with Bike Inventory Technician to assist in processing inbound product into inventory system in a timely manner, ensuring accurate product and quantities match receiving pack list, reporting any discrepancies to management
• Ensure work areas, aisles and overall appearance is clean, well-kept, and reflect company standards
• Working to standard operating procedures in line with company policy 
• Assist with removal of waste material an breakdown and recycling of recyclables
• Actioning any other duties to fulfill the operational needs of the business as directed  

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on feet for up to an 8-hour shift
• Use of step ladders when needed
• Attention to detail
• Flexible, highly motivated, efficient, and well organized
• Attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks
• Warehousing experience preferred 
• Focused on the customers’ needs and delivering excellent service
• Regularly required to stand, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch throughout the duration of work shift
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds constantly
