~ This position is responsible for achieving the company’s wholesale and accessory parts sales and profit objectives by managing programs and promotions to drive results.
~ Collaborate with regions, dealers, MOBIS, and 3rd party suppliers to increase demand, grow new business channels, and fulfill parts orders on time.
~ Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on wholesale and accessory parts sales, profit, and overall trends
Major Responsibilities
Manage Hyundai Wholesale Parts Programs:
~ Manage existing collision parts wholesale programs to increase sales and profitability, including dealer enrollment, field and dealer training and engagement, and conversion rates on collision estimates.
~ Develop and launch new mechanical parts wholesale programs to increase sales and profitability, including dealer enrollment, field and dealer training and engagement, and sales penetration across all major metro markets.
~ Use advanced knowledge to develop, plan, and implement strategies to grow wholesale parts sales through new business opportunities, i.e., collision notifications and body shop leads, a new eCommerce platform, rebate programs, etc.
~ Exercise independent judgement to identify process and technical integration opportunities with other programs. Manage the technical development of programs and ensure proper integration and IT development between HMA and vendor entities.
~ Evaluate and present proposals as needed to optimize profit and customer needs. Investigate opportunities to offer new sales channels.
Manage Hyundai Dealer Accessory and Merchandise Sales:
~ Develop, plan, and implement strategies, programs, and promotions to grow Hyundai dealer accessory and merchandise sales.
~ Manage new model accessory sales by coordinating with the PIO team, MOBIS and Regions on product availability, pricing, stocking, and shipping dates so that we can sell accessories at the start of sales.
~ Evaluate and present proposals as needed to optimize profit and customer needs. Investigate opportunities to offer new sales channels.
~ Develop and distribute the accessory and merchandise sales materials, including but not limited to, Point of Sale material, pricing flyers, the online Accessory Resource Center, Quick Reference Guides, dealer display kits, etc.
Collaborate with Key Business Partners:
~ Partner with the Accessory Development team to identify and source new accessories through existing or new suppliers.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
~ Coordinate with MOBIS, 3rd party suppliers, and Regions to stock up on accessory products each month to achieve monthly objectives.
~ Coordinate process improvement opportunities to resolve issues with existing suppliers as they arise.
~ Collaborate with Parts Pricing to forecast accessory sales based on penetration rates.
~ Collaborate with Parts Sales plus the Retails and Service Experience teams to develop dealer and field promotions that will drive results.
~ Interface with appropriate departments to carry out the Wholesale and Accessory sales plans by assisting the region in the attainment of their objectives
~ Collaborate with the Service Training team to develop dealer training on wholesale and accessory parts sales
Reporting / Budgeting / Purchasing:
~ Coordinate, develop, and design department presentations for broad range of audiences including HMA executive management, HMC executive management, dealership, and region personnel.
~ Ensure proper tracking and program performance metrics/measurements are identified, implemented, and reported on a regular basis.
~ Prepare proposals, planning schedules, contracts, budgets, and all supporting documents required for new program launches.
~ Maintain supplier agreements, change orders, purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices.
~ Prepare and manage program budgets and forecasts. Monitor track, and control budget spending.
