Staff Accountant

We have partnered with a well-known nonprofit organization in Greater Los Angeles to identify the newest member of their Accounting & Finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for daily accounting duties and financial activities. What you would be doing:

• Assist with month-end close
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Accounts Receivables, billing, payment reconciliations and AR aging reconciliations
• Assist with Accounts Payables as needed
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Weekly cash flow analysis
• Assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
• Preparing and maintaining financial records, liabilities, P/L, tax liabilities, and other related activities.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with government contracts and grants preferred
• Nonprofit and/or healthcare experience is a plus
• Experience in MIP Abila Financial software or similar software preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
