Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support our Headquarters office in Arlington, VA. The candidate would work in a hybrid schedule (twice a month onsite) within the NCR region.
- The candidate must have an experience with collecting, reviewing, and processing the timesheets.
- Review and process labor distribution
- Process payroll via Millennium’s ADP HRIS system
- Providing timesheet and payroll support to employees and management
- Administer the ADP payroll system to include pay types, deduction codes, etc.
- Process employment status changes such as new hires, terminations, increases, etc.
- Support the preparation and filing of various tax reports such as W2s, 5500s, etc.
- Support various audits such as workers compensation, financial, 401k, etc.
- Administer state and local payroll tax registrations.
- Provide ad hoc reporting support
- Provide general payroll guidance and support / other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Payroll experience OR 7+ years of Payroll experience in lieu of degree
- Excellent customer service skills
- ADP & Deltek CostPoint experience required
- Experience processing full cycle semi-monthly payroll for over 400 employees
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Experience with 401k submissions and reporting
- Experience with audit support
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
