You will

  • Government Incentive and Grant Acquisition: Identify, apply for, win, and manage the ongoing compliance of federal, state, and local government incentives relevant for Einride.
  • Carbon Credits and Book & Claim: Lead the US strategy for carbon credit and book & claim offerings. Build partnerships to monetize credits, evolve the product, and drive adoption to ensure these programs are integrated across the business.
  • Policy and Regulatory Affairs: Serve as Einride's primary US advocate with transportation authorities to resolve regulatory hurdles—such as weight allowance permits—enabling heavy-duty electric trucks to haul high-density payloads at parity with ICE vehicles

We expect you to:

  • 10+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, sustainability, or public funding within the transportation, energy, or clean technology sector
  • Preferred if have the following subject matter expertise: securing government grants and incentives, US clean transportation policy landscape, carbon credit markets / renewable energy certificates/ sustainability reporting frameworks, established relationships with government entities in the clean transportation or energy space
  • Excellent in program management, written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging AI tools
