Permanent Occupational Therapist

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Permanent Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Permanent Occupational Therapist at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to provide long-term care and improve the lives of patients in need of occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Create individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and goals
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' fine motor skills, coordination, and independence
• Train patients in using adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their daily functioning
• Adapt treatment plans as needed to address patients' changing needs
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to promote independence and improve quality of life
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, assessments, and interventions
• Ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about making a difference in patients' lives
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Guarantee hours: permanent

Work schedule:   08:00am- 4:30pm

Pay: hourly range of $36-45 *rates are negotiable.
