Senior Oracle BI Developer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Experience in extending data model to house additional structures as needed to meet the requirements
• Expertise in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)
• SQL knowledge; Techno-functional skills
• Working knowledge of database/data warehouse concepts including views, tables, and indexing
• Strong understanding of Star and Snowflake schema structures
• Detailed understanding of the OBIEE/OAC environment, from dimensional modeling to front-end report/dashboard design
• Oracle technologies: ETL/ELT, Data Analysis, Script writing, Security Wiring
• Oracle Analytics Development
• Ability to analyze raw data and develop ETL/ELT processes accordingly
• Ability to understand data structures
• Ability to analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models
• Ability to design, develop and customize RPD with multiple data sources
• Ability to create technical documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-year degree
• 8+ years total experience
• 7+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting applications like Oracle Data Integrator, OBIEE, OBIA, OAC, Oracle Data Warehouse
• OBIEE background/experience

Language Skills:

Ability to listen and communicate effectively with clients and employees in an effort to carry out responsibilities or respond to common inquires.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division and to do this using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written or mathematical form and develop a plan of action to follow those instructions.
