Localization Project Coordinator (Independent Contractor)

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Localization Project Coordinator to join its Localization department. The Localization Project Coordinator will coordinate localization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, content creators, translators and designers, to facilitate smooth project execution
• Tracking project progress and identify potential roadblocks and risks
• Implementing and optimizing localization workflows to streamline processes and maximize efficiency
• Acting as the primary point of contact for all localization-related queries and clarifications
• Fostering effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
• Facilitating regular meetings, status updates and reviews to ensure project alignment and progress
• Implementing quality assurance procedures to verify the accuracy and functionality of the output

Qualifications:

• Experience and/or strong interest in foreign languages
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Wolfram Language is preferred
• Fluent in English
