Director 2 - Facilities Operations

Role Overview

Sodexo Magic is seeking a Director 2 - Facilities Operations for Tamaqua, PA. The scope will include all hard and soft services needed to maintain a seamless operation for our client. The facility consists of an administrative building and labs. You will have the budget, staffing, short- and long-range planning, and program development responsibilities for the Facilities department in addition to construction/renovation operations, facility planning, maintenance, repair programs, and energy management.  Excellent customer service and communication skills. Team building and retention. Client satisfaction. Ability to understand and manage contract and financial commitments.

What You'll Do

• Experience with OSHA and Life Safety requirements;
• Strong technical knowledge of the following: MEP, HVAC, structural, fire protection, safety systems, grounds keeping, laundry, food, security, inventory, mail, concierge services. 
• Manage sub-contractors, monitor performance, and ensure SLAs, KPIs, and contractual agreements are met while providing leadership, coaching, and guidance to ensure operational excellence.
• Business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding;
• Staff development and team building experience.

What You Bring

• A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments;
• 5+ years of industry experience preferably in a facilities setting;
• a strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC;
• exceptional customer service, relationship building, and communication skills;
• experience working with outside vendors and subcontractors;
• strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building;
• strong financial acumen and budget management experience
