Sr. Manager, Talent Technology

The Role

At Moderna we are obsessed with Talent and in search of a highly collaborative, solutions oriented Senior Manager, Talent Management Technology. You will be responsible for owning, leading and delivering digital solutions in the Talent Management space at Moderna, to support a rapidly scaling organization.

The ideal candidate should have a broad range of experience delivering digital Talent Management solutions, an understanding of the HR processes involved, and proven ability to collaborate with HR stakeholders to transform these solutions. This role requires an individual with demonstrated success in high growth and fast-paced organizations.

Here’s What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with HR People Platform team to lead and deliver digital talent solutions, projects, enhancements and optimizations in a Workday based environment

• Manage and deliver projects and configuration from initiation through post implementation, including end to end design, configuration, testing, deployment, and operational improvements – ability to roll up sleeves as needed

• Serve as a functional expert for your area and support cross-functional projects and initiatives

• Seamlessly connect the dots between process and technology, to serve as a subject matter expert in delivering digital talent solutions

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and effectively communicate digital solution options with key business stakeholders and product teams

• Establish robust governance of technology platforms to drive continuous improvement

• Stay current with best practices in HR technology, digital trends and proactively identify better solutions

• Function fully independently with proactive reporting of progress and escalation of issues

• Successfully collaborate with team members

• Communicate effectively to your team about timelines to deliver your work efficiently and reliably

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and minimum of 5 years in HR, technical, and project delivery related roles

• Strong project management and business analysis skills

• Experience in HR platforms such as Success Factors, Workday, Eightfold as well as other Talent Management solutions

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

• Hands on experience delivering Workday solutions through all stages of the delivery lifecycle

• Former Workday implementor certified or pro certified in Talent Management modules

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end functional HR business processes and the ability to connect the dots between process and technology

• Strong project management capabilities

• Track record of being the go-to person for designing functional and technical system solutions to solve business problems

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Proven ability to build strong relationship, influence and collaborate with stakeholders

• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

• A collaborative mindset to lead a team to creative solutions as well as a can-do attitude to roll up your sleeves and deliver results

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
