Mental Health Associate - PRN
Minimum requirement is two shifts/month and two holidays/year

Function as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and enables the patient to meet his/her needs as recommended by the treatment team; provides direct patient care to all ages as appropriate and facilitates patient involvement in the prescribed therapeutic activities and services.

Education – High School graduate, Bachelor’s Degree in a social science preferred. 

Experience – Mental health experience preferred

Licensure/Certification –  Must be legally licensed in order to operate hospital vehicles.  Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.  For use of Meritus Vehicles: Valid Driver’s License, A driving record as required by law for vehicle expected to operate. No record of moving violations in the past three years is preferred. Certified copy of driving record is required to be provided by team member annually on date of birth. Acknowledgement with signature to “Attestation A” of Meritus Vehicle Management Use and Control policy.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.   Basic/Moderate computer skills. Effective Communication skills.
