We’re seeking a professional like you to be a part of the Wyandotte Engineering Plastics Compounding team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will carry out activities related to purchasing, document-keeping, communications, and inventory management, being an integral part of a high-efficiency team in a highly dynamic work environment.

During your straight day shift as a Manufacturing Support Specialist, you will

 

  • Create purchase requisitions, framework orders, manage work cycles, and confirme goods are received in quantity and spec, respect BASF procurement best practices and policies.
  • Optimize the in-house inventory of consumables in maintenance and production, from essential office supplies to items used in production.
  • Manage the plant’s visual communication boards and ensure information contained is updated and relevant.
  • Coordinate visits, meetings, and events, support the team on a broad range of activities from customer visits to Quality audits and plant outages.
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities and support different areas in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist the onboarding process by ensuring new hires have necessary equipment and accesses to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

 

If you...

 

  • Have a HS diploma or GED, with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Have experience with SAP.
