Position Specific Description

As an Associate Product Manager at EverBright, you will play a vital role in supporting the full lifecycle of development, with an emphasis on discovery and project delivery. You’ll help the Sales Platform team balance out delivering value and outcomes to both homeowner and installer segments. 
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Work across internal business units and customers to understand and document their problems and requirements. 
• Facilitate Idea management and generation to further cross-functional alignment. 
• Complete analysis to inform data-driven decisions and define insights. 
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, Configuration, Engineering and QA to align goals and outcomes. 
• Support and own project delivery, including project management and beta launch activities. 
• Define and track metrics to measure the success of our sales platform activities. 
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned. 

 
QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s Degree. 
• Desire or demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing. 
• Desire or proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative relationship. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills; the ability to tell a compelling data-driven story. 
• Adaptability in a rapidly changing work environment. 
• Passion for clean energy and sustainability. 

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• 1+ years in product management. 
• Experience in residential solar industry. 
• Experience writing SQL queries. 

Job Overview

This position supports product managers on key initiatives and workstreams within a functional area.  Employees contribute at a team level, working cross-functionally to support product discovery, facilitate product delivery, and ensure product success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Write clear and concise product briefs, epics, stories, and tasks that provide detailed requirements for the development and QA teams under supervision
• Work closely with the functional area-specific teams to ensure their tools are fully supported and issues are resolved quickly
• Support research and product discovery across internal business units and document requirements
• Own key elements of the requirements, implementation, and documentation of specific features under supervision
• Support data analysis to inform data-driven decisions
• Ensure functional area documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
