Job Description

• Take end-to-end ownership of the design and implementation of core product functionality and key technical initiatives
• Become a key decision-maker for all things related to product architecture
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Be a great teammate and help us maintain our positive culture

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications using JAVA
• Hands on experience in: Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture and RESTful APIs, Microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD (tools and processes).
• Development experience with RDBMS and NoSQL database (fluent with SQL programming, Stored Procedures).
• Experience with version control, defect tracking, and build systems
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge on Security, Authentication/Authorization protocols (such as SAML or OAuth), and encryption best practices.
• Experience with browser debugging and profiling tools.
• Experience with UI development (ReactJs, AngularJs) is a plus
• Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment.
• A detail-oriented and highly organized person with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and parallel projects.
• Strong team leadership skills, including the ability to mentor, motivate and influence others.         

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline with MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,250 to $185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
