About the DDM Summer Internship Program:

The Dotdash Meredith Summer Internship Program is a 9 week full time, paid program that runs from June 9th - August 8th, based out of our New York office. The intern program consists of hands-on learning opportunities to create work that has an impact on the business, along with workshops in preparing you for post-college life (resume / interviewing) plus fun events throughout the summer!

Eligibility Requirements:

• Internships are available to students who will be Juniors and Seniors in Fall 2025 at an accredited college or university

• You must be available to work full time for the entire 9 weeks of the program in the NY office, 3 days a week

• You must have access to your own housing and transportation to/from the NY office  

About the Team:

The Amazon vertical is a small, but nimble team within the Transaction department that’s devoted to covering one of our readers’ favorite retailers: Amazon. Our writers, editors, and strategists unearth and cover Amazon’s best deals, new products, and exciting shopping news every day. We publish content across all verticals and brands within the Dotdash Meredith organization, and we produce some of the most trafficked and best performing articles across the company. 

About the Role: 

As a Dotdash Meredith Intern with our Amazon Commerce team you will assist writers and editors to prepare content for Amazon Prime Days. You will get hands-on experience writing news articles on trending topics, researching, fact checking, and updating articles during shopping events. You will have the opportunity to participate in every step of the process from pitching and workshopping ideas to successful execution of those ideas. 

Responsibilities will Include: 

• Pitch and write news articles on trending topics

• Assist writers and editors to research and fact check articles

• Help prepare content for shopping events like Prime Days

• Update live articles with new information during shopping events

About You: 

Candidates for this role should have:

• A fast writer who can produce clean and accurate news articles with tight deadlines

• Enthusiasm and passion for products and Amazon; someone who spends time shopping and obsessing over purchases

• A proactive, self-starter who’s ready to pitch story ideas on the first day

• Strong organization and communication skills 

• An avid consumer of media who can report and share shopping content ideas inspired by what’s performing on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms

Pay Range

Hourly: New York: $20.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one com
