As a Business Analyst Consultant, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. The Team

The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Fidelity Health Business Analyst Chapter (team), which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multi-functional Agile scrum team (squad), partnering with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. Your squad, Healthcare Data Enablement and Client Reporting Squad, is focused on creating business driven data sets from healthcare recordkeeping systems for Analytics and PSW Reporting use cases. Your team will enable data within the Enterprise Analytics Platform to support Healthcare reporting and analytics needs to elevate the experience offered to our clients and their employees. You will partner with the Squad Leader, the development team, and stakeholders to analyze recordkeeping system Data/tables, draft requirements to support various consumption use cases, and validate the delivered data sets before handing it off to our consumers.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required; Master’s degree preferred
• Solid understanding of the Fidelity business with work experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development
• 6+ years Systems Development Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with proven ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams
• Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
• Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool
• Experience with Data analysis, SQL or basic database concepts is a plus
• Skilled at translating business vision into defined and prioritized user stories for team’s backlog
• Ability to understand complex customer needs, translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria, and drive solution formulation with a multi-functional team

• Creating, documenting, and leading scrum team backlog (writing user stories / acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, running refinement sessions, etc.)
• Collaborate with business partners, development teams, and QA on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycle
• Supporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., defining and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, creation and delivery of solution training to internal teams, and communication
• Prioritize multiple initiatives and business analysis tasks at the same time
