We are looking to add a Facilities Manager to our team!
LOCATION: Remote
REPORTS TO: Sr. Director of Growth and Integration
PAY: $76,000 - $90,000/ annually Depending on Experience
CORE RESPONSIBILITES:
Work Order Management & Triage:
Manage, prioritize, and triage work orders submitted via Flowpath (CMMS).
Evaluate urgency and scope of requests and assign appropriately to external vendors or in-house maintenance tech.
Provide remote troubleshooting support to non-technical on-site staff to prevent unnecessary vendor dispatches.
Vendor Relations & Procurement:
Source, vet, and onboard regional vendors across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, and general contracting disciplines.
Negotiate pricing, define scopes of work, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Maintain strong vendor relationships while enforcing accountability and consistent service across all markets.
Facilities Inspections & Compliance:
Maintain awareness of health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements for pet boarding and medical facilities.
Collaborate with field leadership and operations to ensure timely resolution of safety and compliance issues.
Project Oversight (R&M and CapEx):
Oversee end-to-end execution of small- to mid-scale capital projects including renovations, remodels, HVAC upgrades, roof replacements, and plumbing overhauls.
Develop scopes, review architectural/engineering documents, secure vendor bids, and coordinate on-site execution with minimal disruption to pet care operations.
Manage budgets, schedules, and vendor deliverables with accountability for cost control and results.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Partner with operations, finance, integrations, and safety to align facilities strategy with company growth, client experience, and financial objectives.
Train and support center managers on facilities procedures, troubleshooting protocols, and equipment basics.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience
5+ years in multi-site facilities management (preferably in veterinary, hospitality, retail, or pet care sectors)
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and construction trades
Experience managing vendor networks and project bids
Ability to work across cross-functional departments, communicate clearly, and problem-solve in real time
Proficient with work order platforms
