Senior Visual Designer, Search and Conversational Shopping Design

We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking Visusl Designer to become a key member of our Search and Conversational Shopping Design team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the innovation team behind Amazon's generative AI-powered shopping assistant, Rufus. Rufus makes it easy for customers to find and discover products by helping with product research, providing comparisons and recommendations, answering specific product questions, and more. As a Senior Visual Designer on this innovative project, you will help shape the future of this high-impact product, which benefits from extensive customer research and behavioral data, and a rapid launch cadence. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional group of designers, researchers, writers, engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience. This role requires both big-picture vision and meticulous attention to detail as you bring our bold product roadmap to life for hundreds of millions of customers world-wide. Basic Qualifications

- 8+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators
- Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
- Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
