If so, we are looking for Production Group Supervisor who will be managing a team of Business Improvement professionals for Supply chain function.

As a Production Group Supervisor, you will be managing Business Improvement Professionals (BIPs) to identify and deliver improvements, utilising support functions, techniques, and tools available to do so safely and efficiently.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

Managing a team of Business Improvement Professionals (BIPs) to ensure:

• Deploying process excellence, lean standards, description of methods and processes with the respective documentation

• Driving and supporting analysis of strengths and weak points of current business, identifies improvement areas and supports coordinated target setting across functions

• Driving and supporting cross-functional implementation of Business Excellence approaches, e.g., according to top+ Toolbox methods and tools, and provides coaching and training in their application

• Contributing to further development of methods and tools of the top+ Toolbox and related guidelines as a subject matter expert

• Analyzing processes or disruptions, identify weak points and bottlenecks, develop solutions and support implementation

• Proposing improvements based on key workstreams such as Risk assessments and other Environment, Health and Safety reviews, Idea management and other Kaizen/improvement programs and evaluate benefits/costs, oversee its roll out and provide respective reporting to all stakeholders

• Facilitating best practice sharing in their organizational unit and beyond

• Preparing distribution and training subject and method knowledge and share best practices

• Providing transparency on status and progress and contributes to reporting and communication.

• Identifying, supporting, leading, and delivering improvement initiatives and projects in collaboration with production and support functions achieving business targets as defined by the business KPIs, particularly for changes that are outside of production capability or engineering responsibility.

• Defining short, medium- and long-term strategy to achieve the department goals through strategic projects followed up using project management tools.

• Communicating/escalating risk/ challenges to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner, providing containment options or potential solutions where possible

• Involving manager as and when necessary

• Supporting the Supply Chain and Logistics department with providing solutions for, or management of non-standard processes and/or non-conformance rectification, which is outside of SCL capability or engineering responsibility
