The U.S. and Canadian Markets (USCM) team is currently driving a comprehensive transformation across sales, risk, technology, and operation; reimagining how we drive growth and scale our impact. As a Business Director-Chief of Staff, you aren't just advising on the strategy; you are the architect of its execution. As the primary thought partner to the SVP of USCM, you will serve as a force multiplier for one of our most critical businesses. This is a high-visibility, high-impact platform designed for those who thrive at the intersection of complex strategy and rapid operational delivery.

You will drive the strategic intent of the department, navigate a matrixed organization to solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems, and own the "rhythm of the business" for the senior leadership team. Your success here isn’t measured by the plans you deliver, but by the tangible impact you drive across cross-functional workstreams, executive narratives, and enterprise initiatives. General Responsibilities:  

  • Strategic leadership:  Translate business strategies that will drive growth, alignment, and a well managed environment in the face of shifting payments landscape 

  • Execution:  Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently 

  • Partnership:  Work closely with colleagues across Global payment Network including: product, technology, strategy, finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability  

  • Strategic; analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management 

  • Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: They should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business 

  • Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills 

  • Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. They should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment

  • Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis

  • At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis

  • At least 2 years of experience performing people management

  • At least 2 years of experience performing project management

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Master’s Degree 

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services 

  • 1+ year of experience in consulting
