Overview

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures.
  • Developing, maintaining, and optimizing full-stack applications using the Microsoft tech stack, including C#, .NET, and Azure services.
  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.
  • Managing database modernization efforts, including schema redesign, optimization, and data migration.
  • Establishing and maintaining DevOps CI/CD pipelines to improve automation, testing, and deployment.
  • Driving Agile best practices, collaborating with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Ensuring applications comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentoring junior developers and sharing best practices across the team.
  • Staying up to date with emerging technologies to enhance system performance and maintainability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-stack development efforts, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Architect and implement cloud-native solutions, transitioning from legacy systems.
  • Oversee database management, including migrations, optimizations, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of enterprise applications.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, architecture best practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Support and troubleshoot production issues, minimizing system downtime.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and UX designers to refine system requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Document system architecture, technical solutions, and modernization roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • DHS Clearance (Active or ability to maintain)
  • US Citizenship required for federal clearance requirement.
  • 7+ years of full-stack development experience, with expertise in C#, .NET, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proven experience in migrating legacy applications to modern cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions).
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies and best practices.
  • Expertise in modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices patterns.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
