Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

General RDMS or BR preferred, Cardiac a plus.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS certification in at least one body or region by ARDMS is required.

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program required.

Previous experience preferred.

Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
