Enterprise Data Office (EDO)

Accelerating progress on our data transformation is an imperative for Citi, and over the last several months, we have analyzed what we need to do to make this happen. We are convinced that consistently producing timely, accurate and complete data that we can confidently rely on to run our business is a team sport - one that requires groups to work together toward shared goals.

The goal of our data transformation is clear: to ensure we can generate accurate and complete information in a timely manner, and use that data to inform our business-as-usual operations and our risk analyses, whether for real-world needs or as part of our scenario planning and regulatory reporting. While that sounds straightforward, it’s a meaningful undertaking to move away from siloed and complex processes, legacy systems, and activity-based metrics that have held us back in the past. 

Position Overview

Citi Personal Banking and Wealth Management Data Technology is looking for a Senior Data and Analytics leader to drive consolidated intake for all data initiatives. The Consolidated Intake team will be responsible to source  investment programs and projects, work with the business teams, ITPM, architecture and delivery teams in developing consistent solutions across NAM Data.

This position will own all data intake including change requests and new initiatives originating from all LOB technology organizations across PBW. This resource will have strong communication and diplomacy skills in order to influence internal partners to ensure right solutions are conceptualized and developed from the outset. The ability to focus on details while ensuring higher level objectives are achieved, are critical to the success of this role. This resource will take a lead role in driving execution by designing the tooling required to ensure consistent creation and enrichment of data and ensuring access to data through the deployment of best-in-class capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
• Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
• Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
• Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk
