Job Description

As the Senior Analyst, Data Tool & Services (DTS), you will provide users with applications administration support and account management related to the Analytics and Data Sciences (ADS) tools and technology that includes verification of training records completion.

What you’ll do

• Follow data integrity principles and processes to provide help with maintaining data security and applying restrictions to the study folders within ADS file system.
• Responsible for performing file operations on the ADS file system that includes fulfilling backup/restore requests.
• Responsible for coordinating with Biogen IT helpdesk for escalating issues and tickets from the users.
• Responsible for data archival requests by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
• Help the team with development of ADS custom tools using web programming methods and platforms.
• Responsible for documenting their work using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) techniques used in the department
• Provide input to the definition of best practices and processes for the inventory and re-use of Biogen's clinical data assets.
• Support efforts in organizing Biogen's clinical data assets for the purpose of knowing the location, structure, and contents of the data.

You are a senior analyst who has a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail along with demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships and very good written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Masters or PhD preferred
• 5+ years relevant work experience within an organization with a focus on application administration and support
• 5+ years relevant industry experience
• 5+ years clinical trial experience
• 5+ years of experience with a Structured Query Language (SQL) database
• 3+ years of experience with shell scripting command line operations
• 3+ years of experience with a programming language (web programming preferred)
• 3+ years of experience with SDLC and technical writing skills
• Knowledge of drug development process and clinical trials
• Knowledge of data archiving and data operations
