Job Description

We are actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role revolves around the creation of information systems, involving a deep dive into operational analysis, software design and development, and software team support. We're on the lookout for individuals with a strong aptitude for Object-Oriented Programming and a knack for crafting software solutions that transcend specific technologies. 

Responsibilities

• Holistic Application Development: You'll play a vital role in the end-to-end implementation of new applications and improvements to existing ones. This includes leveraging your expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, we are not  bound to candidates with specific technologies. Whether it's Java, Spring, Javascript, React, MySQL, HTML, or CSS. 
• Front and Back-End Collaboration: Seamless integration between front-end and back-end development is crucial. Your role involves close collaboration with our engineering team to ensure these components work together harmoniously, utilizing your strong OOP skills as the common thread. 
• Stringent Quality Assurance: Quality control is paramount. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough checks throughout the development process, upholding the highest standards in software engineering. 
• Strategic Involvement: Participation in strategy meetings is encouraged, where your insights into OOP and software-agnostic thinking will be invaluable for shaping our technical direction. 
• Customer-Centric Approach: Interacting with both our product and customer support teams is essential to ensure our software programs are continually refined and enhanced, reflecting your adaptability to various programming paradigms. 
• Innovation and Leadership: Embrace innovation and spearhead new projects, and mentor and lead other engineers throughout the project lifecycle. Your role is to provide guidance, ensuring that OOP principles are upheld. 
• Proactive Troubleshooting: Stay one step ahead by anticipating potential failures and errors. You'll be empowered to implement innovative solutions that simplify and enhance the user interface, unburdened by specific software constraints. 

Qualifications

• BA or BS in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred   
• 10+ years of relevant, professional experience in web and desktop-based application development  
• Proficiency in .NET
• Experience/education developing software, web applications using Java, Spring, Javascript, React, HTML, and CSS in a SaaS environment  
• Knowledgeable with version control (Git)  
• Experience with MVC architecture pattern  
• Experience with databases (MySQL Server)  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment  
• Experience working in an Agile development environment  
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently  
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment  
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS) a plus
