We are on a mission to become the home for everything home by helping small businesses thrive and providing solutions to financing and booking home jobs with just a few clicks.

Over the last 25 years we have opened our doors to a network of over 200K service professionals and helped over 150 million homeowners love where they live. We believe home is the most important place on earth and are embarking on a journey to redefine how people care for their homes. Angi is an amazing place to build your dream career, join us—we cannot wait to welcome you home!

About the Role

Angi is seeking an experienced and results-driven product manager to own our pro acquisition experience. This person will work on all things related to bringing service professionals to, and ultimately through, our front door.  They will build personalized experiences to help us market more intelligently, to tell our story and the value of our platform, to help pros discover the value of the Angi, and ultimately to help those pros get started in our network and grow their business.

What you’ll do

  • Become a subject matter expert on how pros think about and make marketing decisions and how they find Angi, and develop a perspective on where we fit in the market and what we can do better
  • Help drive growth in our pro network AND improve the efficiency of pro acquisition
  • Collaborate with product, design, engineering, analytics, and business teams to identify and prioritize product features that help bring more pros to Angi with more efficiency
  • Build and manage the online acquisition experience on our platform - from how we market to how a pro signs up
  • Help lead a squad that is high ownership and outcome-oriented, wholly focused on improving the experience for pros
  • Launch new product ideas with a thoughtful testing approach to maximize the pace at which we are learning
  • Thrive within ambiguity and find new, creative ways to solve problems every day, with data as your guide.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize the most important things to accelerate impact
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and insights that can inform our roadmap
  • Constantly work to discover new pro problem areas and, in turn, new opportunities for our marketplace

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in product management with successful outcomes and impacts
  • Deeply curious: you operate with a sense of urgency and always look for new ways to understand our customers and create value on their behalf.
  • Data-fluent: you use data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and are capable of inventing and using new metrics to learn and make decisions. You probably have some SQL skills and definitely have strong analytical skills. This is not a role where you just depend on an analyst to do all of the data work for you.
  • Biased for action: you make good decisions with incomplete data and are constantly optimizing for learning. You find creative ways around blockers and always have an option for what’s next and never an excuse for why you can’t proceed.
  • A bar raiser: you inspire others to bring their ‘A’ game and are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. You don’t accept “because that is the way we’ve always done it.”
  • An owner: you can seamlessly straddle thinking about both the product and the business and are equally comfortable talking about funnel metrics and P+L's. You never say “that is not my job.”
  • Superior communication skills: You can tell a compelling story, you can make the complex simple, you communicate clearly and concisely and can tailor your message to your audience.
  • Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.
  • BA/BS in an analytical field such as economics, math, computer science; Graduate degree preferred.

We value diversity

We know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems. We welcome and value individuals who bring diverse life experiences, educational backgrounds, cultures, and work experiences.
