Purpose

• Manage financial analysis and planning for the Genesis Marketing department, including forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting.

Major Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports reflecting actual performance against budget/forecast monthly to Genesis marketing.
• Oversee monthly forecast and accrual process by meeting with internal and external stakeholders to prepare subsequent forecast and accrual reports for review and submission.
• Liaison between Genesis Marketing and Genesis Business and Budget Operations/Finance to act as an authoritative representative for the entire Genesis Marketing Department.
• Manage request and submission of budget transfer requests within the Genesis marketing department.
• Supervise and aid with creation and submission of Purchase Orders for multiple teams within the GMA Marketing department.
• Analyze and review monthly invoices for reasonableness and accuracy.
• Provide direction for all Genesis Marketing billing activities, developing, and implementing process improvement to continue department efficiency.
• Offer insight to Marketing management as appropriate. 
• Meet with Marketing Program Managers to review individual key spending reports at month-end, including analysis of spending versus budget and YOY.
• Interface with vendors to resolve billing/payment problems for Genesis Marketing department

• Signature authority on expense reports and time-off reports for direct reports.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree required.~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

• Eight or more years of work experience in financial management/planning.
• Marketing related experience is a plus.
• Automotive related experience is a plus.
• Agency and/or vendor experience is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred. 

Skills/Knowledge

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting/finance principles.
• Expert attention to detail while working with tight deadlines.
• Collaborative team-oriented mindset to achieve objectives while working in conjunction with other departments and agency partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

$107,800.00 - $154,000.00 Annual
