Sr. Visual Merchandising Specialist

Job Description
The Sr. Visual Merchandising Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring our stores are equipped with the right fixtures to support product placement and drive sales. This role partners closely with Real Estate, Planogram, and Category Management teams to execute fixture deployment for new stores, remodels, and planogram updates across assigned categories. Acting as a key liaison to store teams, this position ensures operational readiness and visual consistency to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Fixture Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source and evaluate suppliers for store fixtures and equipment.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to support timely and quality deliveries.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Align fixture procurement with project timelines and store specifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Track orders, manage lead times, and coordinate logistics for delivery and installation.
Operational Support & Issue Resolution
- Serve as a point of contact for store teams regarding fixture needs and issues.
- Resolve discrepancies, damages, or delays in fixture orders and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate databases and documentation for purchase orders and invoices.
Financial Oversight
- Monitor budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure financial documentation is accurate and aligned with project goals.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Experience with JDA/Blue Yonder preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other MS Office tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in retail, visual merchandising, or project management.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work model based in Raleigh, NC corporate headquarters.
- Occasional travel may be required to support store openings or remodels.
