We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a strong foundation in metal fabrication to develop and define the manufacturing processes for heat exchangers. In this role, you will play a critical role on an integrated product development team, ensuring functional and performance requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fabrication processes such as brazing, welding, and machining, and will translate complex functional requirements into actionable production instructions. What You Will Do

  • Develop robust fabrication processes for heat exchanger components, including stacking, brazing, welding, machining, assembly, and testing.

  • Translate system-level requirements into detailed piece-part manufacturing documentation for suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Define or provide critical inputs for manufacturing and inspection tooling used throughout the fabrication process.

  • Evaluate and disposition non-conforming materials, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Collaborate closely with fabrication teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and properly executed.

  • Support cross-functional teams—including Quality, Engineering, and Operations—during inspection, certification (e.g., braze/weld), and other fabrication-related activities.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Engineering experience with sheet metal fabrication, brazing, and welding techniques.

  • Experience with tooling for manufacturing and testing

  • Experience with Solumina or other manufacturing software

  • Experience with additive manufacturing fabrication techniques.
