About the role
Who We Are
At Firestorm, we're building toward a future defined by incontestable defense logistics. That means equipping warfighters with mission-critical capabilities at the point of need. Not in months, not from a depot halfway around the world, but now, in the field, on demand.
We're a VC-backed defense technology company pioneering an expeditionary manufacturing ecosystem that produces and sustains modular, mission-adaptable unmanned systems, parts and components for repair and sustainment, and the software to transform point solutions into a network of strategic assets.
We're building a team of engineers, operators, and problem-solvers who believe the future of deterrence cannot rely only on expensive, exquisite platforms made in centralized factories. We build and field affordable systems using distributed production capabilities at the edge. If you want to solve challenging problems that will reshape the future of defense, you're in the right place. About the Role Firestorm is a fast-moving defense technology company operating at the frontier of autonomy and national security. We move quickly, think clearly, and build systems that matter. The stories we tell externally are a direct extension of that mission and are treated with the same level of rigor.
We are seeking a Podcast Producer and Media Relations Coordinator to sit within the Office of the CEO and own two connected mandates: end-to-end production and distribution of the Firestorm podcast and the development of external communications that shape how Firestorm is positioned across strategic initiatives. This is not a coordination role focused on execution alone. You will own narrative development, drive go-to-market storytelling, and produce the materials that represent Firestorm to partners, media, and the public. The individual in this role will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to ensure the right message, reaches the right audience, at the right time.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in high-visibility, high-impact settings, can handle complex topics, and is comfortable working with operators, investors, policy experts, and technical leaders.
