Licensed Practical Nurse - UI Health Care North Liberty Pediatrics Clinic 60%

The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 60% (24 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC North Liberty Pediatrics Clinic. This position will mainly support our Pediatrics Clinics but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations including but not limited to: Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and/or Specialty/Outreach Clinics.

Duties to include:

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards
