Senior EPIC Security Analyst - Hybrid

Overview

The Senior Epic Security Analyst demonstrates advanced understanding of the provisioning process, user access templates, and Epic records while also taking a leadership role in planning, scheduling, and mentoring

Responsibilities

Support and mentor team members by helping with escalated issues, facilitating training, and creating mentoring opportunities.

Facilitate team meetings and training sessions with appropriate agendas, minutes, and action item follow up.

Create, update, and maintain user access guides used in provisioning and auditing projects.

Assist in special projects, such as application implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

Assist with Epic upgrade planning, project scheduling, and group coverage and on call schedules.

Review Nova Project notes for upgrades and communicates necessary changes to provisioning, build, and training teams as necessary.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject matter with 5 years of relevant work experience or the equivalent required.
• Organizational and leadership skills are essential.
• Project management skills, programming skills, and extensive knowledge of health care IT desired.
• If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• Epic Security Certification
• Epic SER Badge, Epic Cadence Certification or other equivalent advanced certification
