About E&ES:
Caterpillar’s Electrification & Energy Solutions (E&ES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst provides business support for internal supply chain and manufacturing teams with sourcing, cost analysis, and metrics dashboards. This role also provides support for contract manufacturers for material availability and process change control.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and support supply chain application systems
- Use data to solve problems and create visualizations
- Support customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing, sourcing, scheduling and material availability data
- Coordinate key supplier meetings to resolve engineering and process change control, inventory management, and material availability
What You Will Have:
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Basic understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Basic understanding and knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Logistics Management: Basic understanding and knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP): Basic understanding and knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
Problem Solving: Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
