Enterprise Architect

We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Evaluate business architecture models that reflect the organization's strategies and goals;

• Work within the agile process and make decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team;

• Monitor, evaluate, and advise on the development efforts done by the agile development team;

• Possess an in-depth knowledge of the goals and desired objectives of the project;

• Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies, drivers, and management priorities;

• Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership;

• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;

• Conduct research to find ways to improve operations;

• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance;

• Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan.

Requirements

• Master’s degree combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 10 years;

• Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems;

• Experience in Agile as well as agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);

• Good knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such frameworks;

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate and BPMN as well as tools such as ARIS;

• Ability to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology-related opportunities and problems

• Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals;

• Excellent leadership, conciliation and negotiation skills;

• The ability to work in a proactive and independent manner, with a focus on priorities, communication and decision-making capacities;

• Certifications as Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), ITIL v4 and Project Management such as Prince2, PM² or PMI would be considered as assets;

• Excellent command of the English language adaptable to audiences ranging from senior management to technology specialists.
