Clinical Research Project Manager CJob Description Summary
Responsible for day to day management of complex projects conducted with collaborators both internal and external to Penn. Leadership role in developing study documents managing the detailed operations of projects, coordinating activities in single center and multi-center studies (including international sites), quality control, and assisting with grant applications when applicable. Lead project strategy. Ensure that studies/research are conducted safely and according to protocol, provide supervision to educators and teams conducting the study/interventions and collaborates with peers from other Universities and funding agencies. Coordinating grant applications and interacts with funding administrators and the University Business Office. May provide contributions to presentations and manuscripts, including multiple drafts for review and dissemination. Play a primary role in other dissemination activities related to project findings.Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Manage mostly complex, multi-site clinical research projects (including study start up, daily operations, external site communications, recruitment and enrollment, and troubleshooting; quality assurance and quality control; study close out activities).
Develop, create and review regulatory submission and study documents/tools, including protocols, consents, annual reports, source docs, training slides, manual of procedures, Data Safety Monitoring Board charter, clinical report form, standard operating procedure. Provide assistance with investigational new drug, investigational device and clinical trial agreement exemption determinations.
