Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Full Time MRI Technologist for Outpatient Imaging. We are offering a sign on bonuses up to $10,000!
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As an MRI Tech you will:
• Explain MRI procedures to patients and address any possible concerns
• Operate MRI scanners and other equipment for imaging
• Maintain a safe and appropriate work area
• Perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation
• Take specific patient images request by medical personnel’s
• Ability to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation; Basic PC skills such as Windows NT, and MRI scan equipment
• Ability to properly and safely use MRI scan equipment’s; Complete understanding of MRI applications
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage interactions with difficult people; Knowledge of current medical terminology
Qualifications include:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography and/or Certified MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Active Maryland license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One year of current MRI scanning experience in a hospital environment - IV Certification preferred
Work Schedule:
Monday- Friday 2:30PM- 11:00PM
