Job Description

Project Manager (PM) is a role within the Information Technology (IT) Corporate team. The PM ensures stakeholder satisfaction and maintain awareness of business needs and priorities within the scope of his/her project.

The PM delivers agreed outcomes from projects using appropriate management techniques, collaboration, leadership, and governance, establishing team structures and a collaborative working environment.

This role takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of projects.

He/she provides effective leadership to the project team, adopts appropriate project management methods and tools, manages the change control process and assesses and manages risks. He/she also prepares realistic plans and ensures that they are maintained and delivers regular and accurate communication to stakeholders.

The PM ensures project and product quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and resource budgets, and are formally accepted, by appropriate stakeholders.

Monitors costs, times, quality, and resources used and acts where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.

More specifically:

• Plan and manage the end-to-end LIMS complex projects, including integrations and international projects, by ensuring project goals, objectives, and milestones are achieved. Set deadlines and milestones, phases or waves if needed and prepare a feasible plan to achieve the goals.
• Guide and manage the vendor within the scope of the project.
• Identify the resources and skills required for the project.
• Lead a cross-functional project team composed of both internal and partner’s members to the successfully delivery of the project.
• Monitor project progress and manage dependencies with other projects and areas. Use the corporate tools for project tracking and reporting.
• Keep relationship with project stakeholders, communicate and report progress and keep open to their feedback, being able to adapt the messages to the audience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s with relevant IT or Computer science background.
• Relevant experience leading IT implementation programs/projects as a program/project manager.
• Project Management certification desired.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Exceptionally collaborative, flexible, and adaptable when working with stakeholders, vendors and various IT teams.
• Excellent soft skills at all levels within an organization, with the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all levels within the business as well as with IT teams.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills
• Previous experience in LIMS project implementations, preferably in Nautilus software
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
• High Level understanding of integrations technologies such as API management, Web Services, File transfer protocols, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies and tools.
