Position Overview
Under direct supervision, conducts screening for current and past Department of Human Services (DHS) application eligibility. Reviews medical applications to ensure questions are answered and has proper signature, registers, scans, uploads applications and documents into system and withdraws applications. Assists in answering general phone calls and emails through the call center to assist customers with general case or program questions, Out of State inquiries and places tasks into Integrated Eligibility System (IES) cases for caseworker action or follow up. Reviews State Identity Proofing packets for completion, signatures, and documentation. Translates functions/procedures into Spanish for individuals who cannot speak or read English, in contacts with the general public, advocacy groups, customers and community organizations.
