We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record of success in developing and executing public affairs strategies, with a particular emphasis on building and nurturing strategic relationships within the European context. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EU and European country-level  policy-making processes and possess exceptional skills in managing external relationships, crafting compelling narratives tailored for the European audience, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate our company’s values, goals, and contributions to various stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and civil society.<b>Key Responsibilities:</b><b>Strategic Relations &amp; Engagement:</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop and implement comprehensive public affairs strategies focused on helping the government affairs team build and strengthen strategic relationships with key EU decision-makers, policymakers, and influencers.</p></li><li><p>Proactively identify and cultivate new strategic partnerships with EU institutions, industry groups, think tanks, and other relevant organizations to advance Salesforce's policy objectives.</p></li><li><p>Represent Salesforce at high-level meetings, conferences, and events, actively engaging with stakeholders and building strong networks.</p></li><li><p>Manage and coordinate joint initiatives and collaborations with strategic third party partners to enhance Salesforce's influence and reputation within the EU.<br/> </p></li></ul><p><b>Strategic Communications &amp; Policy Advocacy:</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop and implement strategic campaign plans to effectively convey Salesforce's mission, values, and public policy initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse European audiences, ensuring consistency in messaging across various channels.</p></li><li><p>Oversee research programs relevant to EMEA policy discussions and contribute to data-driven policy decision-making and messaging.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with corporate communications and the global government affairs team to drive public policy narratives in EU media outlets and forums.</p></li><li><p>Create external-facing collateral and amplification materials for the Global Government Affairs team and company executives specifically tailored for EMEA audiences.</p></li><li><p>Support the execution of media partnerships and paid media campaigns within the EMEA context.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and mitigate reputational risks<br/> </p></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, European Studies, or a related field.
