THE JOB:
The main duty of the Houseperson is to support the Guestroom Attendants. Your responsibilities are carried out with a focus on professionalism and efficiency to ensure a pleasant environment for guests and staff alike.
STARTING RATE: $22.5626 an hour
THE DAY TO DAY:
Ensure assigned areas are clean and neat.
Constantly clean ash urns; clean and dust lamps, mirrors, pictures, etc.; mop and clean all marble or tile floors in assigned areas.
Deliver requested items, such as refrigerators, pillows, rollaways, cribs, etc., to guest rooms.
Empty all trash and linen from the Guest Room Attendants’ carts as needed.
Maintain inventory levels, deliver supplies to assigned lockers, and restock them.
Follow Quick Flood Response procedures, safety procedures, general cleaning, pull room procedures, and quarterly mattress-flipping procedures.
Clean restrooms in assigned areas; vacuum all halls, lobbies, and edges; clean all hall railings, marks on wallpaper, stairwells, and lockers.
Regularly check in with managers, pick up keys, inspect housekeeper carts, and check hallways, pool rooms, and guest deliveries.
Drop off linens and assist with room clean-ups when necessary.
Ensure trash is cleaned and disposed of properly.
Preform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
PREFFERED:
Understanding and knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
Bilingual proficiency preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English.
