Your tasks

• Lead individual improvement projects and support existing improvement projects within the department

• Analysis and improvement of production processes (e.g., internal logistics, MRP, industrial engineering, final assembly)

• Support Industrial Engineering in New Product Introductions and product ramp-ups / ramp-downs

• Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and updates for projects

• Develop and maintain key metrics (KPIs) and visualize department KPIs        

Your profile

• Enrolled student at a German university

• Studies of industrial engineering, business management or equivalent course of studies

• Interest in production and in technology offered by TRUMPF

• Excellent knowledge of MS office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Very good command of written and spoken English

• SAP, Project Planning Software (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet) and SolidWorks knowledge is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a multifunctional team

• Strong dedication to improvement and analytical skills

• TRUMPF knowledge is a plus
