MANTECH seeks a motivated and career-focused Senior Naval Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position.
 

In this role you will play a vital role in planning and designing enterprise systems infrastructure while providing deep technical expertise on complex systems integration challenges. This position is ideal for candidates who excel in systems engineering, troubleshooting, and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems infrastructure, covering both hardware and software components

  • Analyze and enhance system performance by developing, testing, and modifying configurations

  • Conduct system verification and validation to ensure compliance with internal and external standards

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions to optimize system operations

  • Oversee project planning activities including scheduling, budgeting, and technical documentation

  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and meet project goals

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and may lead teams on complex engineering projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • 10+ years of relevant systems engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractor

  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05

  • Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacity

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
