HCS Operations Security, Compliance, and Project Management Lead

Job Overview

The HCS Operations Security, Compliance and Project Management Lead is responsible for effective and efficient delivery of security, compliance, and projects ensuring operational excellence within the HCS Operations team. You will drive standardization, optimization, consolidation of solutions with a focus on security and compliance while providing project leadership and management for the HCS team. You will establish process and provide guidance, reporting, and accountability for all areas of Hosting & Cloud Services environments and ensure delivery of secure, high-quality IT services and products. The HCS Ops Security, Compliance and PM Leader will have responsibility for leading the team tasked with supporting infrastructure projects and operational activities and acquisitions and divestitures in the areas of cybersecurity (iSecOps). Primary responsibilities include management of patching and vulnerability processes, supporting systems and partners. Management and reporting of license compliance, usage, access, security logging, and reporting. This role will be responsible for all areas of audit and compliance support processes for the HCS Ops team. This effort requires working closely with the compliance and audit teams to ensure adherence to corporate policy and external requirements.

A Day In The Life

• Infrastructure Security Operations (iSecOps):  Own and manage infrastructure vulnerability remediation activities across HCS Ops.  Track remediation efforts to completion and report accordingly. Contribute to the team’s strategy to manage threats, vulnerabilities, and our organization’s security profile. Manage a team tasked with continuous service improvement (CSI) and cybersecurity risk reduction.
• Maintain standards that are aligned with Hubbell global framework requirements to support key compliance, risk and security controls within Hosting & Cloud Services Operations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key infrastructure suppliers, influencing their strategic product roadmaps to the benefit of Hubbell security and compliance.
• Collaborate and partner with audit, compliance, and security teams, developing relationships to ensure alignment on department process, infrastructure design, implementation, and support.
• Establish and enforce compliance appropriate policies, processes, and procedures, aligning with Hubbell security, audit, compliance, and industry best practices. 
• Implement an effective team structure that optimizes the delivery capability and output of the HCS operations team, leading the team in best practice and process and establishing SOP’s for the support of the operations environment.
• Develop and implement Service Level Agreement(s) for HCS deployed infrastructure services. Monitor and enforce within the HCS Operations team.
• Serve as the IT leader for Hosting & Cloud service operations, security and compliance, driving satisfaction with IT services by assessing expectations and driving targeted improvement plans, to positively influence relevant stakeholders’ perceptions of IT security and compliance process.
• Provide Implementation and support for Hubbell systems including installation, build, maintenance, patching, administration, documentation, trending analysis and troubleshooting of hardware and software for on-prem and multi-Cloud environments.
• Maintain production operations according to business expectations with emphasis on security, availability, and scalability, across both on premises and Cloud. Identifies areas of improvement in process or technology and presents implementation plan to management.
• Provide leadership and vendor management guidance and oversite of managed services in support of HCS Ops, to ensure and maintain the overall health, performance, security, and patching of all HCS Operations support environments.
• Act as SME (Subject Mater Expert) on projects critical to the business and hosting operations support of the business. Work in partnership with the business to ensure hosting needs are met for projects and Manufacturing environment support. 
• Ensures systems are monitored and statistics relevant to capacity, performance, utilization, etc. are provided to IT management.
• Provide project management leadership, support, scheduling, and reporting in support for HCS Operations strategic initiatives and internal projects.
• Help to maintain service operational excellence within the HCS Helpdesk queue, by providing service desk queue support, perform ticket queue monitoring, resolution, and prioritization and SLA compliance.
• Merger and Acquisition HCS Operations Liaison. Serve as Project Manager/Lead of the activities within the department. Serve as infrastructure POC/SME for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, for all aspects of M&A activities
